A Malcolm Dewalt interception set up the Trojans at the eight-yard line. Talarico finished the drive for his second touchdown of the game to make it 17-7 Olympic with 5:34 to go before half-time.

Zeke Gillick’s 54-yard TD pass to Dewalt preceded Ledbetter’s 18-yard TD pass to Cal Breen made it 24-14 Oly at the half.
