A three-goal lead in the first period by the West Sound Admirals didn’t stand as the Seattle Totems came back to beat the Admirals 9-5 on Wednesday at Olympic View Arena.
Dmitrii Munirov scored all three goals for West Sound — two of which were unassisted — in the opening period before Seattle struck back to cut the lead to 3-2.
The Totems scored five unanswered goals in the second and third periods to take a 7-3 lead before West Sound countered on Munirov’s fourth goal of the game. Seattle added two more goals late in the game before Oliwer Stensson added the final tally with 2.3 seconds remaining.
West Sound is back at Olympic View for a game on Saturday at 7:05 p.m.
