The Bremerton High School Youth Soccer Clinic will be August 18-19 at Memorial Stadium in Bremerton.
The camp is open to boys and girls ages 5-12, with shin guards and soccer attire, from 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.
The clinic is designed with fun in mind to introduce new players to the game of soccer but players with experience are welcome. The focus will be on fundamentals.
Bremerton High’s varsity girls team members will be on hand to instruct campers including head coach Lance McCoy, assistant coach Jacki Renner and volunteer assistant coach John McKenzie.
The cost of the camp is $30 per child and covers both days and $25 for each additional child.
All proceeds go toward the Bremerton Knights’ varsity and junior varsity soccer teams.
Treats and beverages are provided by Safeway on Callow Avenue.
“They have been a terrific partner over the years for this event,” said McCoy.
Also on hand will be Kevin Mac, the host of ISPN Sports.
“This is a great way to help support the Bremerton Soccer Club,” McCoy said. “Many of your kids will one day attend Bremerton High School and consider turning out for boys or girls soccer.”
Sign in for the clinic will be from 10:30-10:50 a.m. both days.
