Bainbridge has gone 5-1 for the month of April, including a fifth run-rule victory on Monday, a 19-0 win over Ballard.
The Spartans are 9-3 in the Metro League and 7-3 in the Mountain Division with two games this week.
Sara Colley threw a 3-inning perfect game, with three strikeouts. Malia Peato led the offense with a home run, triple and four runs batted in.
Last Friday, the Spartans lost 3-1 to Garfield. It was the second time this season Garfield’s offense was held below double digits. Nicola Simpson struck out 17 and an unearned run for Garfield. Peato of Bainbridge was nearly as effective, striking out 10 and limiting the Bulldogs to seven hits and three runs. Garfield scored on a Kaia Simpson RBI triple, then she scored a second run on an infield grounder in a two-run first inning. Peato singled in the lone Spartans’ run. Bainbridge freshman Ruby Raymundo also finished with two doubles.
Bainbridge is at West Seattle Wednesday and Eastside Catholic Friday.
Softball: Eagles victorious against Sequim
Klahowya’s softball team pulled off a momentous win on Monday.
The Eagles traveled to Sequim and came away with a 3-2 non-league win.
It was the first win against the Wolves in 10 years, said Klahowya coach Jodie Gagnon.
Amber Bumbalough, a Northern Illinois recruit, had a career-high 16 strikeouts.
Klahowya improved to 6-3 overall, and are 1-2 in Olympic League 1A play. The Eagles take on Bremerton Wednesday.
Softball: Olympic shuts down North Mason
The Olympic Trojans shutout North Mason 13-0 in Olympic League 2A softball game Monday.
Freshman Riley Burdyshaw, in her first varsity at-bat, tripled in the Trojans first run. The floodgates opened after that as Kaira Cabato went 4-for-5 with a run scored, a stolen base, two RBIs, Kaytelin Graf was 2-for-4 with a double, two stolen bases, two RBIs, and a run scored, and Dani Snyder was 3-for-4 with a double and three RBIs. … Olympic also beat Sequim 9-7 Tuesday to increase its hold on second place in the OL. The Trojans nearly lost the game however as they were up 9-0 heading to the bottom of the seventh. Ashlyn Morris finished the day going 3-for-3 with two runs, a sacrifice and three stolen bases. Morgan Kroeber was 3-for-4 with three RBIs and Cabato went 2-for-3 with an RBI, a run and stolen base.

Baseball: Wolves rough up Rogers
The South Kitsap Wolves defeated Rogers 10-9 on six innings Tuesday.
Garrison Glisson struck out five to earn the win while Nathaniel Beers had a home run. Drew Wooden, Torre DiGiovanni, Nate Wotzka and Preston Moritz each had two hits.
Also, Port Angeles beat North Kitsap 5-4 on Tuesday. A sacrifice fly brought home one run but stranded two in the seventh. …Bainbridge beat Nathan Hale 14-0 in a Metro League 3A game Tuesday. The Spartans led 5-0 through four innings then added four runs in the fifth and five runs in the top of the seventh. Garrett Aichele drove in three runs and was 3-for-5 with two runs scored and a home run while Theo Colgan was 2-for-3 with two RBIs. … Liam Peterson of Port Orchard struck out eight and was 3-for-5 in Evergreen Lutheran’s 15-5 win over Quilcene Tuesday. Peterson helped EL to a win on Monday, 12-0 over Mount Rainier Lutheran, and was 2-for-3 in Evergreen’s 18-2 win over Seattle Lutheran last week.
