Olympic softball defeated Central Kitsap 9-6 Thursday in an intra-district non-league game at the Kitsap County Fairgrounds.

It was the second game in as many days for the Trojans (5-2, 3-1), who will host Olympic League-leading Port Angeles (9-1, 6-0) Friday at the Fairgrounds, at 4 p.m., in what has turned into a busy and productive week.

Senior Kaira Cabato, in her first at-bat coming off a knee injury, hit a home run for the Trojans. And she wasn’t the only one as junior Morgan Kroesser also hit a dinger.

Also, South Kitsap beat Sumner 10-5 in a South Puget Sound League 4A game.

In the feel-good mention of the day, Crosspoint baseball spent the afternoon at the Central Kitsap Foodline. See the tweet below.
