Olympic College’s Evan Whitsett and Andy Renne tied for second at the Highline Invitational Monday at Twin Lakes Golf Course in Federal Way.

Whitsett and Renne each shot 10-over par to finish two shots behind winner Joel Snyder of Southwest Oregon. Whitsett shot a 75-79-154 and Renne shot a 77-77-154 for the two-day match.

Olympic’s Max Dorn finished tied for seventh (81-77-158), while Andrew Nelson (83-85-168) and Christopher Bainbridge (83-93-176) finished out the scoring for the Rangers.

The Rangers tied with SW Oregon for second in the team standings with a score of 634 while Bellevue won the team title (625).

McKenna Kendall

For the women, Olympic’s McKenna Kendall finished third with a two-day score of 173 (87-86) while Bailey Koerner was ninth (95-94-189).
