In this week’s Monday Video Profiles, we get to know Central Kitsap senior Olivia Krog and Kingston junior Aron Markow in our athlete spotlights.

Krog was part of the first class of freshmen to play varsity at the high school level and the guard took advantage of her opportunity from the start. Krog played all four seasons for the Cougars and finished her senior year averaging a double-double with 14.9 points and 15 rebounds in 16 games. She also averaged 2.3 steals and 2.6 assists.

Krog, who finished third in the javelin at the 3A state track and field meet last spring, is undecided on her college but would like to study Early Childhood Education.

Markow is the fourth swimmer from Kingston to Ironman this season. Markow, who swam at Bainbridge last season, will likely compete in the 100-yard butterfly at the 2A state meet Feb. 16-17 at KCAC in Federal Way.

Markow enjoys skiing when he can and swims for the Poulsbo Piranhas Swim Team.
