Bainbridge qualified both of its 200-yard medley relays to the upcoming Class 3A state boys swimming meet during the Spartans 124-62 Metro League win over O’Dea last week.

It was the final home meet and senior night for Bainbridge.

Individually, Bainbridge went 1-2 in the 200 freestyle with Garrett Waite and Sam Chapman gaining the two spots. Waite had another state time in one minute, 48.11 seconds.

Makai Ingalls, Jude Wenker, and Kevin Houseman grabbed all three top spots in the 200 individual medley. All three had state times.

John Velisaris won the 50 free, Kiernan Liberman claimed the diving event, Andrew Witty won the 100 butterfly with Chapman taking second. Ingalls won the 100 free in a state time, Waite won the 500 free and Houseman earned the win in the 100 breaststroke with Carter Hall finishing second.

The Spartans 400 free relay beat O’Dea in a state time of 3:14.34.
