Despite holding the lead for much of the game, the West Sound Warriors were unable to leave Bellingham with a win Friday night.

The Warriors lost 4-3 to the Blazers in double OT in a Western States Hockey League Northwest Divison game.

West Sound had a 3-2 lead through the second period on goals by Mattias Wikstrom and two goals by Caleb Travis. The Blazers tied it at 3-3 in the third and it remained that way through the first overtime.

Dane Halstead had the game-winner for Bellingham at the 4:45 mark in the second overtime.

West Sound travels to Seattle Saturday before heading back to Bremerton for its final game before the Christmas break on Sunday afternoon.
