The Crosspoint boys soccer team will return to the Class 2B state tournament thanks to a 1-0 win over Friday Harbor in a first-round Tri-District 2B match Monday.
The win at Gordon Field in East Bremerton puts Crosspoint into the semifinals and gives them an automatic berth to state. With the top six teams qualifying, the Warriors are playing for seeding and the opportunity to gain the No. 1 spot.
Hunter Feldbush scored what turned out to be the game-winning goal as Nathanael Cash posted the shutout for the Warriors.
The Warriors (15-0) will face Evergreen Lutheran at 5 p.m. Thursday at Silverdale Stadium. Evergreen, which has five players from Kitsap, is also headed to state after earning a 4-2 win over Providence Classical Christian.
The winner of the Crosspoint-Evergreen game moves into the district championship Saturday.
